About Us

Darryl Remus (Doctor of Optometry degree) has been practising, in this community since 1991.

Alberta born and raised, Darryl completed his  Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Lethbridge.  He obtained his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Waterloo. 

Fort McMurray is our home. Many of the residents here come from afar. That contributes to the atypically friendly nature within our community. That friendly nature is carried forward when you visit us. We will remember you. We'll treat you like family. Hopefully, you’ll want to remember us.

Over the years our practise has moved a few times.  Beginning in 1991 at the Peter Pond Mall, we relocated in 1992 to the Offereins Bldg.  In 1996 we moved to Thickwood Shopping Plaza for 15 years. In 2011 we moved downtown to Manning Avenue.  We left there at the end of 2015 and relocated to Thickwood, now we are back downtown.
